As our next Millwright Apprentice , you'll be at the forefront of supporting the maintenance and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems essential to plant operations. Working under the direction of certified Millwright Journeypersons, you'll gain hands‑on experience while contributing to troubleshooting, repairs, system improvements, and the safe operation of production equipment. Your growing expertise in industrial mechanics, schematics interpretation, and equipment calibration will be crucial in driving our success and ensuring plant reliability.

With guidance from certified Journeypersons, you will:
• Support testing, repair, installation, and calibration of equipment.
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, seals, and coupling alignment.
• Assist with troubleshooting and making system improvements to increase quality and efficiency.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Gain exposure to welding, rigging, manlifts, chillers, and compressors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow JE policies, procedures, safety practices, environmental guidelines, and QMS requirements (IATF 16949 / ISO
• Complete apprenticeship program requirements as defined by the Ontario Ministry of Training.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent — proof required for apprenticeship registration.
• Preferred: Post‑secondary diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electro‑Mechanical, or Fluid Power.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast‑changing environment.
• Ability to work independently and clearly communicate requirements in writing and drawings.
• Knowledge of tooling and adaptation systems.
• Positive attitude, strong integrity, urgency, and results orientation.
• Previous hands‑on experience in maintenance, fabrication, or mechanical roles.
• Familiarity with industrial rigging, welding, or machinery operation.
