What You'll Do
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for the Shield Team

  • Manage and balance team workload across:

    • Production incidents and service degradations

    • Defect remediation and stabilization work

    • Platform modernization and technical debt reduction

  • Coordinate incident response, including triage, prioritization, escalation, and resolution

  • Facilitate post-incident reviews and ensure follow-up actions reduce repeat issues

  • Lead delivery execution for Platform Systems modernization initiatives

  • Partner with Architecture and Engineering to break down modernization work into executable increments

  • Own intake and prioritization processes for incidents, defects, and platform work

  • Maintain visibility into team capacity, work-in-progress, and delivery risks

  • Serve as Scrum Master for the Shield Team, adapting Agile practices to a sustaining and modernization environment

  • Coordinate onboarding and enablement for new engineers joining the Shield Team

  • Provide clear, timely updates on incidents, delivery progress, and platform risk

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in software delivery, sustaining engineering, or platform operations

  • Experience acting as a Scrum Master, delivery lead, or similar role in an engineering environment

  • Hands-on experience supporting production systems in cloud-native (AWS) environments

  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and modern platform architectures

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in high-impact, interrupt-driven teams

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into business impact

Nice to Have
  • Experience modernizing legacy or hybrid platforms to cloud-native architectures

  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS integrations such as Salesforce and/or Workday

  • Experience working with distributed or globally located engineering teams

  • Background in incident management, operational readiness, or reliability initiatives
