Program Overview
The Quality Improvement Coordinator (Internal Systems & Documentation) is responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives related to internal policies, procedures, and operational documentation across Edmonton North Primary Care Network (ENPCN).
Working within established Quality Improvement frameworks, this role applies process improvement, standardization, and change management methodologies to strengthen organizational systems, reduce variation, and improve staff access to clear, reliable internal documentation.
This role is based out of the Edmonton Health Hub North location but will function predominately in clinic offices.

The PCN QIC will be working within established Quality Improvement frameworks, this role applies process improvement, standardization, and change management methodologies to strengthen organizational systems, reduce variation, and improve staff access to clear, reliable internal documentation.
Report to
Manager, Clinical Services
Education
- Two (2) to four (4) years of post-secondary education is required
- A Degree in a health or education related discipline is considered an asset (e.g. healthcare related, education, business, communications and marketing)
- A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
Experience
- Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in quality improvement, process documentation, policy development, or systems coordination
- Experience applying quality improvement or changing management methodologies in an organizational setting
- Experience working in healthcare or a non-profit organization is preferred
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Skills
- Strong written communication skills with attention to clarity, consistency, and detail
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple documentation cycles simultaneously
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with a system-improvement mindset
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and disciplines
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and supporting change in a complex organization
