Our Resources group—bringing together our Mining and Industrial teams—supports clients across Canada with services ranging from conceptual studies and feasibility assessments to detailed engineering, EPCM execution, commissioning, and site closure.
Based in our Sept‑Îles office, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering new infrastructure projects and upgrades for industrial and mining operations across the country. You'll collaborate with local, national, and international experts who push industry standards and drive innovation forward.
Your Impact
Your work will help create safe, efficient, and resilient industrial and mining environments. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation engineers to develop plans, drawings, and technical details for industrial, mining, and institutional electrical projects.
- Prepare material quantity estimates and support cost analyses for project execution.
- Select and specify electrical equipment and/or instrumentation systems.
- Support the preparation of specifications, tender documents, and construction packages for electrical and instrumentation work.
- Conduct site visits to gather data required for design and project planning.
- Assist other technicians assigned to projects as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings to support effective project execution.
- Provide technical assistance during construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Carry out related tasks that contribute to successful project delivery.
The Skills That Set You Apart
You thrive in technical environments and bring a strong sense of initiative and collaboration. You also have:
- A college diploma in electrical engineering technology and/or instrumentation.
- Experience designing electrical or instrumentation systems for industrial, mining, or institutional environments (asset).
- Experience in consulting engineering, construction supervision, or commissioning (asset).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD for technical design and drafting.
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An ASP Construction card and a valid driver's licence.

Compensation:
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $72,800 – $97,900
- MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 – $92,900
