The North America Master Data Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining master data elements in SAP for customers, finance, materials, and procurement data. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintain Customer Master Data, including ship-to and bill-to accounts in Ariba, output condition records in SAP, customer hierarchy, organization structures/sales area, and intercompany customers in SAP. Maintain Finance Master Data in SAP, including cost element tables, cost centers, general ledger accounts, bank master data, fixed asset data, and company codes. Maintain Procurement Services Master Data in SAP, including vendor processing (set-up, maintenance, approval), vendor JSOX control, intercompany vendors, material processing (setup, maintenance, approval), info record processing (setup, maintain, approval) for plant maintenance, and internal orders with related hierarchies and groupings. Perform customer service support on SAP customer, finance, and procurement data-related information. Understand and apply Sun Chemicals master data and finance processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards. Manage withholding processing (maintain tax forms, update/monitor withholding information) in SAP. Handle most non-routine issues, escalating to management when issues cannot be resolved. Meet published deadlines and quality and productivity targets with minimal supervision. Adapt to new processes, concepts, and skills, contribute ideas and actions toward continuous improvement, and comply with Sun Chemical standards, policies, and procedures. Overtime and holidays work may be required during peak periods.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
H.S. Diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in service or manufacturing industries focused on customer interfacing activities and data entry. Advanced proficiency with all Microsoft Office productivity tools.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2-4 year degree in business or related field. Experience in accounts receivable, order processing, accounts payable, general accounting, organization management, procurement, and/or supply chain. Exposure working with implementation and/or working with SAP or other ERP system. Experience in shared services/internal service delivery role desirable.
