Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our Omaha, Nebraska team! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our warehouse facility. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our logistics operations. You will operate various types of forklifts to transport inventory, load and unload trucks, and assist with stock placement and retrieval. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, precision, and operational efficiency. We require all operators to be certified and adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of all necessary PPE. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operators to contribute to a vital part of our logistics network and grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock organization.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on forklifts as needed.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Commitment to safety and diligent use of PPE.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
