About
We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for our busy logistics hub in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is critical to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations, responsible for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods. You will be involved in everything from unloading trucks and verifying incoming shipments to accurately picking, packing, and preparing outgoing orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills. You must be comfortable with physical tasks, including regular Lifting, and adhere strictly to all Safety protocols. We expect all team members to consistently use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure their well-being. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate records of received and shipped goods.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carriers.
- Keep the receiving and shipping areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE during all work activities.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations and data entry.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE consistently.
