Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify item quantities and product details to ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare items for shipping by staging them in the correct locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring it is free from hazards.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks as needed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking goals.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not essential for motivated candidates.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 40 lbs periodically.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- A proactive approach to maintaining a safe and efficient logistics environment.
