We are expanding our warehousing operations in Orlando, Florida, and are looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our team! As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely retrieval of products from our extensive inventory. This role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring our customers receive exactly what they ordered. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify the quantity and description of items picked against the order.
- Prepare picked items for packing and shipping, ensuring they are handled with care.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers as trained.
- Keep the picking area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and safe working atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Must be able to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail is critical for this role.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent walking, bending, and reaching.
- Willingness and ability to consistently engage in lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment for the entire shift.
- Commitment to following all safety regulations and using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Understanding the importance of safety in a busy logistics environment.
