Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and properly store incoming materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate count and condition of goods.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling and record-keeping.
- Follow all Safety procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Perform routine checks on material handling equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Engage in regular Lifting and moving of goods, often in significant quantities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory control systems is a plus.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times in designated areas.
