Join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This role is central to our operations, responsible for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. You will be involved in receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, stocking inventory, preparing outgoing orders, and coordinating with carriers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to Safety are essential. We are dedicated to providing a secure work environment and require all employees to strictly follow all safety protocols and utilize the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and involves frequent Lifting of packages and materials. If you are a motivated individual with experience in shipping and receiving, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments.
- Verify order accuracy and quantities against shipping documents.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE throughout the shift.
- Perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Support the efficient flow of goods within the logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to Safety and the correct use of PPE.
