We are looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse to retrieve specific items based on order requests. Accuracy, speed, and careful handling of merchandise are key. This position involves significant walking, standing, and lifting , making physical fitness and a commitment to safety essential. You will work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with colleagues to meet daily targets. Proper use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order requirements.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Pack items carefully to ensure they are protected during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Meet individual and team picking quotas in a timely manner.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counting.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting , pushing, and pulling of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists accurately.
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and regular lifting .
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics .
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
