We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with deep expertise in TransUnion credit data and lending analytics. You'll build scalable data pipelines integrating credit bureau feeds with loan servicing systems to drive underwriting optimization, and risk management decisions. Your work will directly impact lending strategies by translating complex credit data into actionable insights that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Credit Data Analysis: Extract and analyze TransUnion datasets including headers, tradelines, inquiries, trended attributes, and FICO scores to evaluate consumer creditworthiness and credit behavior patterns Portfolio Analytics: Develop and monitor lending KPIs including delinquency rates, loss forecasting, prepayment trends, credit score migrations, and loan pull-through rates Modeling & Segmentation: Build metrics, dimensions and risk segmentation frameworks using SQL and Python Data Engineering: Design ELT pipelines in Snowflake integrating TransUnion feeds Collaboration: Partner with Risk, Product, and Compliance teams on A/B testing, regulatory support, and executive reporting through automated dashboards
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field 3-5 years in lending analytics with hands-on TransUnion credit data experience (TU segments, credit report structures, tradeline interpretation)
Technical Skills SQL: Expert-level with complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization Python: Advanced proficiency in Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn for analysis and automation TransUnion: Deep understanding of data formats, credit attributes, FICO models, and bureau API integrations Strong communication skills to translate technical findings for business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Snowflake: Data warehouse development, optimized queries, and cloud platform management Regulatory: Knowledge of FCRA, ECOA, and fair lending practices Experience with other credit bureaus, alternative data, or ML in credit risk modeling
Additional Requirements
Location & Availability: This is a remote position; however, candidates must be located within the United States and available to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours for team collaboration and stakeholder meetings. #J-18808-Ljbffr
