Data Engineer (Swiss Re America Holding Corporation; Armonk, NY*)
: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to transform raw data into actionable insights. Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to gather and understand data requirements.
Identify, integrate, and manage relevant data sources to ensure accurate and efficient data flow.
Identify relevant data sources and implement analytics visualizations to provide actionable data insights. Evaluate new capabilities of the analytics platform and develop prototypes to demonstrate these capabilities. Collaborate within a global development team to design and deliver solutions. Assist stakeholders with data-related functional and technical issues.
*Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
Skills Requirements
:
Big Data Analytics;
Python or Spark; and
Machine Learning.
Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.
The base salary range for this position is: $79,456.00 to $93,000.00 per year
