Job Summary:
Join our energetic team in Chicago, Illinois, as a Picker/Packer and play a crucial role in our fulfillment center! You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This role requires a sharp eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to Safety and quality. You'll be working in a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring that customer orders are picked correctly and packaged securely. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, motivated, and possess the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This position involves regular physical activity, including picking, packing, and occasional Lifting. We provide thorough training on our systems, equipment, and critical Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. Become a vital part of our operations and contribute to exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners.
  • Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
  • Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
  • Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.
  • Perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Contribute to the overall success of our logistics and order fulfillment process.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and procedures.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Team-oriented and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to wearing necessary PPE.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
