About
Our distribution center in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, all while maintaining a strong focus on Safety and efficiency. This role is critical to our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. We require individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling physical demands, including significant Lifting. You will work within a team environment, contributing to the overall productivity and success of the center. Adherence to all company Safety guidelines and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to perform your duties effectively. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring correct quantities and quality.
- Stock merchandise in designated areas within the distribution center.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational targets.
- Handle items requiring significant Lifting using proper techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with order picking and packing processes.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
