About
Our busy distribution center in Fort Worth, Texas, is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse. You will play a critical part in our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and contributing to overall productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We prioritize the Safety of our employees above all else and require strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves frequent physical activity, including moderate to heavy Lifting, and requires individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and possess a valid forklift certification. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Support the overall logistics and operational goals of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting.
- Excellent understanding of Safety practices.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
