We are seeking an energetic Picker/Packer for our facility in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to identify and retrieve items.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipping accurately.
- Stage completed orders for loading onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Utilize proper lifting techniques for all products handled.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and meet productivity targets.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
