Join our dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio, as a Picker/Packer! We are searching for dedicated individuals to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. Your role will involve selecting items from inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and maintaining a tidy workspace. This position is integral to our logistics and fulfillment operations, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction. You'll be working in a supportive environment that prioritizes workplace Safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining high accuracy rates.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
- Capable of performing tasks that involve regular Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics processes.
- A proactive approach to workplace Safety .
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
