Job Summary:
Columbus, Ohio is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced facility. This role requires a hands-on individual responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of warehouse equipment and infrastructure. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our logistics operations run without interruption, focusing on preventative maintenance and prompt troubleshooting. Your technical expertise will contribute directly to overall warehouse efficiency and Safety . Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse machinery, conveyors, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime.
  • Install and modify equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated in compliance with Safety regulations.
  • Operate forklifts or other machinery when required for maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE .
  • Assist in maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse automation, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Knowledge of industrial Safety standards and best practices.
  • Capability for moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 60 lbs) and physical tasks.
  • Understanding of logistics workflow within a warehouse environment.
  • Must be proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
