Columbus, Ohio is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced facility. This role requires a hands-on individual responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of warehouse equipment and infrastructure. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our logistics operations run without interruption, focusing on preventative maintenance and prompt troubleshooting. Your technical expertise will contribute directly to overall warehouse efficiency and Safety . Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse machinery, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime.
- Install and modify equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure all equipment is operated in compliance with Safety regulations.
- Operate forklifts or other machinery when required for maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE .
- Assist in maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse automation, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of industrial Safety standards and best practices.
- Capability for moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 60 lbs) and physical tasks.
- Understanding of logistics workflow within a warehouse environment.
- Must be proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
