Position Summary: Are you an experienced and results-driven finance leader? We're looking for a dynamic Cost Accountant/Controller – Finance to join our team The incumbent of this position is responsible for cost accounting, inventory valuation, budgeting, and financial reporting, and partners with the management to analyze production variances, optimize processes, manage cash flow, and ensure internal controls are met. This is a full-time onsite position offering the opportunity to collaborate with the department leaders, including production, purchasing, sales, human resources, and management in order to monitor and control costs, provide guidance and advice, and implement efficiencies and innovate in a fast-paced environment while making a measurable impact on the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Accounting & Inventory: Analyze production costs (materials, labor, overhead), manage inventory valuation, and review excess/obsolete inventory.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate, timely monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the operating budget, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Internal Controls & Audit: Develop, implement, and maintain internal control policies to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Operations Partnership: Work closely with the management and senior managers to identify cost-reduction opportunities, improve efficiency, and analyze capital expenditures.
- Systems & Technology Utilization: Leverage ERP systems and financial tools to support data integration, automation, customer number email processing, cost reporting, and vendor categorization to enable accurate monthly purchase reviews and analysis.
- Compliance and reporting – Ensure compliance with local, federal, and tax reporting requirements, while issuing accurate and timely financial statements.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Certification: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred
- Experience: 5+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, cost accounting principles, ERP systems (FeneVision experience a plus), and advanced Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Salary: $90K-$120K
