Job Description Join our team at Oracle Analytics Data Intelligence Cloud Service as we expand the Fusion Data Intelligence Service, particularly within the US Government and Defense cloud sectors. We are seeking a skilled DevOps professional to manage our vital Cloud Infrastructure deployments, oversee Region Build Outs, and enhance our Security Operations while monitoring our Data Intelligence Service applications. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the seamless operation of our critical cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include incident management, deployment automation across multiple environments, driving process improvements, and collaborating with development and operations teams to enhance service efficiency and reliability of Oracle Analytics Applications. To be eligible for this position, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and will be required to participate in on-call rotations to support US Government and Commercial Cloud deployments. These rotations may occur after business hours or on weekends, managed according to Oracle's policies. Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated tools and systems to streamline operations, minimize manual tasks, and enhance service efficiency. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) for provisioning and configuration. Conduct root cause analysis on defects and outages, preventing recurrence. Monitor system performance, identifying potential issues and ensuring systems operate efficiently. Maintain robust security measures to protect against threats and ensure compliance. Write scripts and configurations for automating software build and deployment processes. Ensure system scalability, security, and high availability. Test and implement disaster recovery plans to manage significant outages. Proactively monitor systems to detect potential issues before they escalate. Establish alert systems to inform relevant teams of arising issues. Manage infrastructure changes safely and reliably. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the DevOps team. Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for workflow optimization to enhance customer experience. Create custom Analytics reports, focusing on service resilience. Monitor customer experience and KPIs, suggesting improvements for overall service resilience. Maintain comprehensive documentation of security practices and incidents. Develop security controls to manage identified risks. Automate security processes and integrate tools with pipelines, assigning tasks as needed. Monitor builds and deployments, troubleshooting and resolving issues. Automate tasks within the software development lifecycle, focusing on CI/CD and Infrastructure management. Support Oracle Analytics Applications operations on OCI using Cloud DevOps methodologies, including incident management. Utilize OCI tools for managing cloud infrastructure services. Provide 24x7 technical support for customer assistance with Oracle Analytics Data Intelligence service. Continuously improve Oracle Analytics Apps cloud capabilities and tools. Perform daily operations in accordance with compliance and regulatory standards. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable institution. 4+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, cloud services, and Docker container-based applications. Strong background in cloud platform operations, tools, and processes. Experience with Linux/Unix system administration, including scripting. Proven experience in deploying production applications across various environments on Oracle Cloud infrastructure. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP. Understanding of internet networking services such as DNS and HTTP. Ability to document technical procedures and configurations effectively. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Bash. Experience with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment. Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience troubleshooting and resolving system issues. Familiarity with Oracle databases and strong SQL query writing skills. Experience in security operations, vulnerability scanning, and compliance management. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
