Job Summary:
Bre Property Management is seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The facilities maintenance technician will perform a range of inspections and maintenance related tasks as well as minor repairs to ensure that the facility is well-maintained for safe operations of the facility.
The Facilities Maintenance Technician shall be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance related tasks. These tasks include but are not limited to responding to tenant related facilities maintenance requests, trouble shooting electrical, mechanical and plumbing issues. Working with various trades personnel, updating facilities access control system and security control systems. Additional tasks may include power / pressure washing, minor patching and painting and exterior maintenance related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner to ensure KPI's.
Maintain cleanliness of mechanical, electrical spaces and maintenance spaces.
Coordinate and lease with janitorial team to maintain cleanliness and organization of common and tenant spaces.
Perform minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools and equipment.
Work with suppliers or contractors to obtain necessary materials or schedule specialized repairs.
Qualifications:
5th class power engineer (Preferred)
Must be available on call for emergencies after hours to respond to facility emergencies water egress issuers, fire panel alarms, security issues, power outages, etc.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
2+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
Perform urgent repairs as needed to minimize downtime or safety hazards.
Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
