We are excited to announce an opening for a Project Engineer at our Müller Milk & Ingredients business, based in either Droitwich or Severnside . This is a permanent position that requires a full UK driving license due to travel across our sites.
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch engineering projects that align with our business vision and OGSM strategic plan. Your mission? To ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Your Key Responsibilities- Continuously improve our systems and support enhancement activities across all areas.
- Understand Total Cost of Ownership to deliver effective, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Maintain strict control over project budgets, ensuring transparency from concept to closure.
- Coach and mentor site leadership teams in managing minor capital projects.
- Adhere to Müller’s project management and investment processes for technical investments.
- Ensure all project completion and handover documentation is submitted to relevant site teams.
- Support the wider project team in achieving the OGSM objectives of the business.
- A degree in a relevant STEM subject (Engineering, Physics, Maths, Science) or equivalent industry experience.
- Project management experience or qualification, preferably within an FMCG environment.
- Familiarity with project management systems (e.g., MS Project).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Capability to operate effectively at all levels within the business.
- A full UK driving license.
