About
Provides, and performs oversight, delegation and coordination of total nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic needs of residents
*Job Duties:*
* Utilizes the nursing process, for the performance of resident care, to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate resident care to achieve prioritized resident outcomes according to the RN or LPN scope of practice.
* Collaborates with health care providers to coordinate medical and nursing management of resident care.
* Provides resident care supervision.
* Performs emergency treatment as required in accordance within the RN/LPN scope of practice.
* Performs and maintains documentation.
* Promotes and ensures resident and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.
* Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of patients’ medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained.
* Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications and Skills*
Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN program.
Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska
Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Nebraska
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Previous RN or LPN experience preferred.
