Job Summary:
Join our busy logistics hub in Seattle, Washington, as a Material Handler! We are seeking strong, reliable individuals to assist with the movement of goods throughout our warehouse. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, and ensuring that materials are moved safely and efficiently. Your duties will include transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment within the warehouse, stacking and organizing goods, and performing routine checks on equipment. This role is critical for maintaining the smooth operation of our logistics processes, ensuring that materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts (certification required) and possess a solid understanding of warehouse safety procedures. Physical stamina is essential, as the role involves significant lifting and moving of materials. We are committed to a safe working environment, so adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. You will be trained on safe lifting techniques and the proper operation of all machinery. Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and other transport vehicles.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification required).
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the warehouse.
  • Stack, arrange, and organize materials according to established procedures.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock counts.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to follow all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
