This position requires significant physical activity, including frequent walking, bending, reaching, and regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner device.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Retrieve items from various locations within the warehouse.
- Stage picked items for the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks as needed.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Perform tasks involving lifting safely and effectively, adhering to ergonomic guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
