About
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in San Jose, California. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance. Your leadership will be key to optimizing workflow, ensuring productivity, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. This role demands strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics principles. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE, is paramount. This position requires the ability to guide team members through tasks involving significant Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse operational strategies.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and control.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Train, mentor, and manage warehouse personnel to achieve performance goals.
- Implement and enforce Safety regulations and company policies, including PPE requirements.
- Monitor and optimize workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Manage equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
- Contribute to the overall Logistics strategy of the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of Safety protocols and experience with PPE.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Capability to handle tasks involving Lifting and manual labor.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
