Join our fast-paced distribution center in Nashville, Tennessee, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick customer orders and prepare them for shipment. Your primary responsibilities will include using an RF scanner to locate items in the warehouse, picking the correct quantities, and then carefully packing them into appropriate shipping containers. You will also be responsible for labeling packages, performing quality checks, and staging orders for outgoing delivery. A strong focus on accuracy and efficiency is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, follow instructions precisely, and maintain a positive attitude. We emphasize a commitment to safety, requiring all employees to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping boxes or containers.
- Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation to packages.
- Stage packed orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including correct use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus. Ability to perform lifting up to 40 pounds regularly. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods. Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial. Good communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions. Must be reliable and punctual. Experience in logistics operations is a plus.
