Job Summary:
We are looking for detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our fast-paced logistics facility in Richmond, Virginia. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This role involves navigating the warehouse to retrieve items, meticulously packing them for shipment, and maintaining an organized workspace. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and system prompts.
  • Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
  • Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure the safe transit of goods.
  • Efficiently pack orders, maximizing space and presentation.
  • Apply shipping labels and other necessary documentation accurately.
  • Stage completed orders for carrier pickup and loading.
  • Adhere strictly to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.
  • Perform frequent Lifting of products and packages, with the ability to handle up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free work area.
  • Contribute to inventory accuracy through careful order selection and stock handling.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing goals within our logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent Lifting for the duration of the shift.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics.
  • A strong commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts as operational needs arise.
