Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our Cincinnati, Ohio distribution center. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other machinery to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our Logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses excellent operating skills, a strong commitment to Safety, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks to move materials.
  • Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from production, storage, or shipping areas.
  • Stack and store merchandise in designated locations, ensuring stability and Safety.
  • Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and put-away.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and Safe work environment.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Wear all required PPE at all times.
  • Must be capable of performing tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting when not operating equipment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
  • Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant).
  • Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up).
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and Logistics.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a Safe workplace.
