You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring the overall safety and efficiency of our logistics operations. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance are essential. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all technicians to strictly follow safety procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE and safe Lifting practices when handling parts or equipment. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on all warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure the safe operation of all machinery, adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to minimize downtime.
- Follow safe Lifting procedures when handling equipment or parts.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
