About
We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our busy logistics center in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. Your role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring operational efficiency. A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts are essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Transport raw materials and finished products to designated storage areas.
- Stack and organize inventory to maximize space utilization.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Follow all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and warehouse protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Valid forklift certification or equivalent demonstrated proficiency.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety procedures.
- Must wear required PPE at all times while operating equipment or in designated areas.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a team.
