Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in San Francisco, California? Our bustling distribution center is looking for a skilled individual to manage the movement of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and other items. This role is vital to the efficiency of our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are available when and where they are needed. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment and expect all team members to adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the consistent use of required PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport materials to and from production, receiving, and shipping areas.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
- Experience in logistics is a significant advantage.
