We are seeking a reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution network. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, including receiving and stocking merchandise, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. Your contribution will ensure that our products reach our customers seamlessly and on time, playing a critical role in our overall logistics strategy. Maintaining a safe and secure working environment is our top priority. All associates are required to follow strict safety protocols and consistently use the designated PPE . This position requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and performing significant lifting of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipments with correct labels and documentation.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Operate warehouse equipment as trained and certified.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure the correct use and maintenance of all required PPE .
- Perform tasks involving substantial lifting and movement of materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is beneficial.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics , inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Dedication to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE .
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
