This critical role ensures that inventory is managed efficiently, staff is effectively deployed, and all logistics run like clockwork. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics.
- Enforce all safety regulations, company policies, and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Manage stock rotation and ensure optimal use of storage space.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Proven ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated understanding of logistics operations and supply chain best practices.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of safety procedures, including the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
