We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our operations in Orlando, Florida. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This involves regular cycle counts, physical inventory checks, data entry, and reconciling discrepancies. Your role is fundamental to ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly, preventing stockouts and overstock situations. You'll work closely with the warehouse team to maintain optimal stock levels and contribute to overall efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Record inventory data accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Receive and document incoming inventory, ensuring it matches purchase orders.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse stock.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any issues or shortages.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related inquiries.
- Generate reports on inventory status and activity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk, Inventory Control, or in a similar data-focused warehouse role.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills (MS Office).
- Experience with WMS software is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory best practices.
- Commitment to safety standards and wearing appropriate PPE.
