We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to contribute to our operations in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient handling of goods, from receiving to dispatch. You will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including organizing inventory, picking and packing orders with precision, and preparing items for shipment. A commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork is essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick products based on order fulfillment sheets.
- Package items securely for transit, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role is preferred.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
