WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Advanced Analytics Mastery Design and implement enterprise-level Tableau and Power BI solutions, integrating sophisticated calculations, predictive models, and embedded analytics frameworks. Enhance performance through optimal design of data sources, workbook performance tuning, and server capacity management. Introduce advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities, including statistical forecasting and clustering analysis. Establish and maintain analytics governance frameworks, including management of permissions and data lineage. Implement real-time analytics solutions while ensuring compliance with enterprise security and data governance standards. Monitor performance and create alerting frameworks for BI platforms. Drive innovation through exploration of new analytics features and cloud service integrations. Collaborator Partnership Work closely with business stakeholders to translate intricate requirements into technical specifications. Lead technical discovery sessions and design workshops with business users and digital partners. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences through clear documentation and presentations. Provide technical expertise during solution development initiatives. Team Technical Guidance Offer mentorship and oversight for junior analytics team members and self-service business users. Establish technical standards and procedures for Tableau and Power BI development. Promote the adoption of DevOps practices within BI development. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and create comprehensive documentation for complex solutions. YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles. Experience within enterprise environments managing complex data landscapes. Expertise in Tableau : Mastery in Tableau Server/Cloud administration including site management and performance optimization. Advanced Tableau Development : Proven ability to develop sophisticated Tableau solutions with advanced calculations. Power BI Proficiency : Demonstrated experience with Power BI administration and development. Snowflake Experience : Proficient in using Snowflake data warehouse with SQL development and integration with Tableau. SQL Server Proficiency : Advanced skills in SQL development and database design. Leadership : Experience in leading technical delivery and establishing processes. Stakeholder Engagement : Proven ability to interact with business users and gather requirements. Documentation & Training : Experience in developing user documentation and training resources. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills for resolving technical challenges. Agile Methodologies : Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks. Ideally,
expert-level Power BI development
skills including advanced DAX. Experience with
data governance
and analytics performance tuning. Relevant certifications, such as Tableau Server Certified Associate or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, are preferred. Pay Transparency: nVent's compensation range for this role is between $89,300 and $165,800, based on experience and skills.
