Your Responsibilities: Develop and sustain high-quality, scalable, reusable software components for our core products. Identify bottlenecks and performance issues, implementing effective optimization strategies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and Customer Support, to ensure successful product delivery. Make impactful decisions regarding product, code architecture, and processes. Engage in a highly collaborative engineering environment. Mentor and guide junior engineers, contribute to technical discussions, and help drive technical decisions. Be a key contributor and leader in the audio pod as you help grow it. Your Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of backend software development experience (Golang or similar). At least 2 years of frontend software development experience (Vue, React, or similar). Proficient in: Deploying large-scale applications through CI/CD pipelines. Designing and building RESTful APIs. Collaborating with design/product teams to fulfill product requirements. Working with large datastores and caching systems. Creating and maintaining high-traffic, high-availability systems. Deploying applications on cloud hosting platforms (GCP, AWS, or similar). Mobile software development (Native, React Native, or similar). Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Proactive initiative in identifying and resolving problems, improving processes and outcomes. Compensation: Rockbot follows a market-based approach to compensation, with pay varying based on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate's starting salary will reflect job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
