The NULIFE team is continuing to expand and is looking for a Production Manager to lead the Operations team. NULIFE GreenTech is a privately-owned, Saskatchewan based company focused on solving industrial waste challenges. It uses its proprietary technology to transform organic food manufacturing waste into renewable crude oil in an environmentally friendly way.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Director, Engineering, the Production Manager will play a lead role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our HTL process and equipment. This role involves a combination of leadership, technical operations, logistics, and maintenance experience to support the operations team for leading plant performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead team in execution of company safety protocols, work practices, and policies.
- Lead operations team in process operation and execution to meet required production volumes.
- Develop schedules for feedstock supply, product delivery and operations staffing.
- Manage operations team development and training.
- Develop maintenance schedules, and coordinate maintenance vendors to provide maximum plant uptime.
- Provide operations insight into process design improvements and expansion developments.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system-generated reports to inform operations and engineering.
- Record process and production data in required spreadsheets and reports.
- Lead continuous development of the Safety program. Conduct monthly safety meetings, lead safety culture development, support/conduct hazard assessments, and report non-conformances.
- Support regulatory compliance tracking and reporting as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of Production Manager experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of pressure piping, pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, database tools, and familiarity with PLC control systems.
- Teamwork: Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Education: A technical degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Instrumentation, or Chemical fields is an asset.
- Safety: Safety-sensitive role requiring PPE compliance during work hours. Additional safety certifications (e.g., first aid) are beneficial.
- Licensing: Valid Canadian Class 5 Driver's License with no restrictions.
Preferred Attributes:
- Formal process operator training (e.g., SAIT, Polytech, or similar institutions).
- Technical background in piping, fluid flow, and pressure systems.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay: $30.00-$60.00 per hour
