About
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our rapidly growing logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and meticulously packing them for shipment to our valued customers. Your day-to-day will involve navigating the warehouse efficiently, using order lists and scanning technology to locate products, and ensuring that the correct items and quantities are selected. Once picked, you will carefully package these items to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition, affixing shipping labels and preparing orders for dispatch. This role requires a high level of accuracy, speed, and a commitment to quality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Safety is our paramount concern; therefore, all team members must strictly adhere to warehouse safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy in quantity and product.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and packing area.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Report any issues with inventory or equipment to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Comfortable with lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and using PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
