Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately. You'll work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe and productive work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and employing safe lifting techniques. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify quantities against order documents.
- Put away received inventory in its designated location accurately.
- Pick items from storage racks to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for outbound transportation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- Practice safe lifting and material handling procedures to prevent injuries.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
