About
We are seeking an experienced and certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse operations in Provo, Utah. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products within our facility. Your duties will include transporting goods to and from storage areas, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. A strong commitment to safety is essential, and you must be knowledgeable in all aspects of forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation and be adept at working in a fast-paced logistics environment. You must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, and maintain a high level of productivity. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport products to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Stack and arrange inventory accurately in racking systems.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Participate in general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting. Ability to perform lifting up to 70 pounds. Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics. Excellent spatial awareness and precision in operation. Must be able to work shifts and overtime as required. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is crucial. Experience with RF scanners is a plus. Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic.
