Your attention to detail is paramount as you verify shipment contents against purchase orders, document any discrepancies, and ensure proper staging of received materials. This position requires a methodical approach and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. You will work closely with carriers, warehouse staff, and inventory management to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of goods into our facility. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all team members are expected to adhere to rigorous Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses strong administrative skills, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify against documentation.
- Accurately record received items in the inventory system.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Stage received materials for internal distribution or stocking.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or inventory role is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Safety procedures.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE.
