We are hiring an Order Picker in Raleigh, North Carolina! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will work within our warehouse facility, using an order list or scanner to locate and retrieve products from shelves and racks. Accuracy, speed, and efficiency are key to success in this position, as you'll play a direct part in our overall **logistics** operation. We are committed to providing a **safety**-first environment, and all team members are required to use **PPE** and follow established **safety** protocols. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and have the physical stamina for constant movement and **Lifting**. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Read order lists or use scanners to identify and locate items.
- Retrieve products from shelves, racks, and other storage locations.
- Verify accuracy of picked items against order documentation.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Transport picked items to packing or shipping stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse **logistics**.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent bending, walking, and **Lifting** up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with **safety** procedures and **PPE**.
- Understanding of **logistics** and inventory flow is a plus.
