You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and conduct preventative maintenance on a variety of warehouse machinery, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems. A strong understanding of industrial equipment and a commitment to safety protocols are essential. You will collaborate with other departments to identify needs and implement solutions. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- Respond to equipment malfunction calls promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Operate a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate with management on equipment upgrade and replacement needs.
- Uphold the highest standards of workplace safety, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with training other staff on basic equipment operation and care.
- Support overall logistics efficiency through reliable equipment performance.
- Must be able to handle lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical repair.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
