About
We are looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, requiring accuracy and efficiency in selecting items and preparing them for shipment. You will work closely with inventory systems and ensure that customer orders are processed correctly and on time. A commitment to maintaining a Safe and organized work environment is essential. This position offers a great opportunity to grow within the Logistics and warehousing field.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order lists or scanner instructions.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding order status or issues.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving regular Lifting and movement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe work environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
