About
We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee operations at our Baltimore, Maryland facility. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse logistics. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, coordinating the receiving and dispatching of goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your goal will be to optimize warehouse efficiency and maintain a high level of productivity. This is a key position within our logistics network, requiring a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within logistics.
- Operate forklifts or other machinery as needed and maintain their upkeep.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance and inventory status.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and experience with PPE protocols.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
