Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately.
- Stock and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications using scanning devices.
- Prepare shipments for transportation, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE in a logistics setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
